2017 Transgender Day of Remembrance

November 20, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

TDOR SF – Trans Day of Remembrance

Monday, November 20th, 2017. Doors open at 5:30, program starts at 6pm at the SF LGBT Center – 1800 Market Street, SF, CA.

RSVP here or register at the event.

We hope you will join us again on November 20th to honor those we have lost, and build momentum to end the violence against trans and GNC (Gender Non-Conforming) communities.

2017 may be the deadliest year for the trans community ever recorded. Despite increased visibility, trans people continue to be murdered in unprecedented numbers, especially trans women of color.

TDOR is brought to you by a volunteer planning team and community partners including:
Trans Employment Program
SF LGBT Center
and more!

Together we can put an end to the violence against trans people!

TDoR is a genuine tribute to those who have lost their lives to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice. This day serves to raise awareness of the abuse and violence faced by the trans community, as well as our families, friends, and cis allies.

The event is accesible, ASL and Spanish Translation will be provided. If you have questions please contuct us at .

The event is free, but we have expenses. If you’d like to help, please donate. If money is not abundant, but you still want to help, please volunteer.

Want to give? Get a T-shirt online and donate.

Thank you.
